Hey whats up, i just saw your one video on youtube about tapping, thats something i want to learn, when i saw your video it reminded me of Phil Keaggy, b/c he does that alot in his songs, then i read on here that your a fan of him, thats awesome, im a HUGE phil keaggy fan. I just saw him in concert two weeks ago and it was unbelievable, that was the second time i saw him. Hes just amazing!!.. I see in your photo your playing a Olson, same type keaggy plays, where did you get that at. and how expensive are they.. Im looking for an acoustic electric, and would love to get an olson, like the same body type that keaggy plays, i think its an SJ body i think... Whats your opinion on Taylor acoustics, like the cheaper ones, like the 214CE i think.. i thought about looking into that brand to.. So whats your favorite Keaggy album? Mine is wind and the wheat and master and the musician. I want to buy some other ones but cant find them anywhere.. would you know where to get them at. Theres this one song im trying to find called "I see myself in you" its on the Inseperable album limited edition, i cant find that anywhere. maybe you would know.. well i have to go.. keep in touch with me man... thanks bye

Joe, it's a privilege to know you and be your friend - albeit, long distance. But if I were there I'd attend as many of your venues as possible. I was reading your bio and reading about how Phil Keaggy played an influence in your music -made me think that there are many in the photographic community that I learn from and am inspired by. It's the life experiences, the listening, the feeling, the seeing -then we begin to form our style to become what we want to be...it's God given...and we just gotta express those talents! (ever lay in bed thinking about music? heheh same with me and photography. Peace my friend and have a great Friday! -Bunch O' Love from the Hilton Family -Gene, Linda, Aly, & Henry

Joe,
I first heard you play several years ago for a Florida Dance Theatre performance where my daughter was dancing. Awesome! I have been hoping to catch another performance ever since. Was so thrilled to see the article in The Ledger this summer featuring Summit of Leaves. I have just found how to get a copy and can't wait to hear it. Your Calendar only shows past performances. Do you have anything booked for the future? Unfortunately I didn't know about Munn Park on 9/16.

Steve Spinks

September 14, 2006

Great to see you again, Joe! The site looks great. Wish I could make it to Munn Park on the 16th of September, but I have a previous engagement.

Joe, This CD is truly a blessing to all. It expresses the Mighty Power of God given Gifts. To say you are an Inspiration is an understatement. You are a rare example of how God uses our talents to speak to others. Your a channel from Heaven. Matthew 6:33 says, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Hallelujah. Thank's for your time and your talents. Thank's for all you do in His Name. Love you Joe, God Bless.
Mike,
P.S. HEY, That's My Brother!

Brilliant and enlightened music played by an understated and talented guitarist. Few albums (showing my age) allow the listener to hear something new on each listening. "Summit Of Leaves" lifts one up with its beautiful melodies and stellar musicianship. If you are a player it will either make you want to play more or give up your instrument. If you are just the casual listener you'll find a lot to go back and listen over and over again.

Tony Wright, Plant City

February 16, 2006

I picked up your "Summit of Leaves" CD Wednesday and have listened to it front to back about 8 times. I always find at least one track on any CD I've ever purchased, that I didn't particularly like. Not so on this one, my brother. You and your production people have put a real gem together. Thanks for sharing your music with us and may God continue to bless you and your family.
